Cancellation Policy
Anchored Academics One-on-One Tutoring Policy 1. Session Packages and Expiration Usage Period: All sessions purchased as part of a package must be used within 3 months of the purchase date. Expiration: After this period, any unused sessions will be forfeited without a refund. Please plan accordingly to ensure sessions are completed within the designated timeframe. 2. Attendance, Cancellations, and Rescheduling 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered a missed session and cannot be rescheduled or credited. Frequent Cancellations: Consistent cancellations may result in the release of your time slot to another student. Late Arrival: Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time, regardless of student arrival time. If a student is more than 10 minutes late, the session will be considered missed and cannot be made up. 3. Session Expectations and Preparedness Active Engagement: Students are expected to participate actively, stay focused, and bring a positive attitude to each session. Parental Support: Parents or guardians should ensure that students are prepared with all required materials and are in a quiet, distraction-free space for online sessions. Behavioral Standards: Respectful communication and cooperation are required. Repeated behavioral issues may result in termination of services without a refund. 4. Technology and Equipment Requirements Reliable Setup: Students must have a stable internet connection, a working computer or tablet, and access to any required software or links prior to each session. Pre-Session Checks: It is the responsibility of the student and/or parent to ensure all technology is functioning properly before the session begins. Technical issues on the client’s end will not result in refunds or make-up sessions. 5. Payments and Refunds Payment Policy: All payments must be completed prior to the first scheduled session. Sessions cannot begin or be held without full payment. Non-Refundable: All payments for one-on-one tutoring are non-refundable, including missed or unused sessions within a package or through a "Charter" School. Commitment: Enrolling in one-on-one tutoring indicates your agreement to these terms, which are designed to maintain fairness, consistency, and respect for both tutor and student time.
